NIRX is a world-leader in providing integrated solutions for fNIRS neuroimaging. In 1988 we introduced the concept of tomographic imaging (i.e., multi-distance measurements) in dense scattered media base on diffusely scattered light. This approach has since been widely adapted and has served to launch the modern day field of fNIRS tomography.
Through our offices in Berlin, Los Angeles, Minneapolis and New York, our engineers and grant-funded investigators are providing a growing number of research teams world-wide with comprehensive technology solutions for the most demanding investigative applications.
More than 250 people have attended our first webinar, focused on the use of fNIRS for BCI for communication. We would like to thank Dr. Bettina Sorger and Dr. Ujwal Chaudhary for making it such a great event. We are already looking forward for the next one!
A dive into fNIRS - Beyond the Superficial. 2 day Workshop
Novel approaches for fNIRS signal acquisition and processing - separating the intracerebral and extracerebral components.
As announced earlier this year, NIRx is proud to host yet another workshop. A big focus of the fNIRS community within the past months has been on understanding the source of the fNIRS signal. How do we understand which part of the vasculature contributes most to fNIRS signals? Novel hardware solutions will be presented for the acquisition of very short channels (≈8mm) as well as data analysis methods for the elimination of the superficial confound.
NIRx is extremely proud to welcome Dr. Ted Huppert (remotely) and Dr. Sabrina Brigadoi (live) as guest speakers. Dr. Huppert and Dr. Brigadoi will present existing fNIRS analysis algorithms with focus on the processing of short channels.
Exploring Optical Neuroimaging
NIRx was founded by functional near-infrared spectroscopy (fNIRS) researchers. We continue to focus 100% of our efforts to advancing and promoting this innovative and promising research tool.
NIRx believe in the importance of constantly contributing new information to the fNIRS community. We are always adding to our downloadable material and hope you will learn something!
