Corporate Event and Content Coordinator

 

Summary 

NIRx Medizintechnik GmbH is looking to hire an organized, resourceful, and highly-motivated administrator for event planning and corporate communications.

Our Berlin office is part of a small but rapidly-growing international medical devices company headquartered in Los Angeles, USA.  We specialize in high-end hardware and software used in brain imaging research.

 

Requirements

  •  Excellent English skills, preferably native or several years abroad in English-language territory
  •  Ideally, good command of German language, any other language is a plus
  •  Good experience in event management, planning business trips, and organizing workshops
  • Excellent communication skills, and excellent organizational skills
  • Excellent writing skills in English, content creation, and content editing
  • Excellent command of MS Office applications (predominantly MS Word and PowerPoint)
  • Basic understanding of website editing on service-based content management systems (e.g., Squarespace, WordPress)
  •  At least five years of professional experience
  • Bachelor degree
  • Flexible working hours/adapting to events schedules
  •  Willingness to travel 1-4 times per year, up to 1 week at a time
  •  Basic graphic design skills and experience with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop

 

Additional Desired skills

  • Experience in coordination of conference exhibits and the involved logistics
  • Highly motivated, ability to create order efficiently, willingness and ability to learn quickly
  • Experience in managing/supervising/coordinating 3rd parties, such as contractors (designers, photographers, etc.), resellers, etc.
  • Experience in procurement
  • Good photography skills
  • Creativity and proficiency in desktop publishing or photo editing software

 

Work Tasks

  • Organization of in-house and external workshops for customers and resellers
  • Coordination of all aspects of company exhibitions at industry conferences
  • Organizing and coordinating business trips for NIRx staff
  • Organizing and coordinating trips for visitors of NIRx GmbH
  • Creating, editing, maintaining online content (website, social media)
  • Internal and external communications (e.g., newsletters, announcements, email publications)
  • Generation of print media such as catalogs, flyers, and displays by working with external parties (photographers, designers)
  • Selection and procurement of marketing materials/giveaways
