New Aurora Release

NIRx is proud to announce that the new Aurora 2020.07 and NIRSite will be released in July 2020. The NIRx software platform becomes a complete and integrated fNIRS research solution, from montage design to data acquisition and data review. In addition to the standard MNI adult head model, several infant head models have been included for montage design and realtime data visualization. In line with the efforts of the entire fNIRS community, NIRx is very proud to announce full support of the SNIRF file format. Furthermore, to allow for an overall improved data recording workflow, the automatic signal optimization has been made much faster and an offline data review mode has been added.

We believe that these additions on top of the already existing features (e.g., hyperscanning, multi-device support, WiFi/USB/stand-alone modes, full LSL support and multiple 2D and 3D views) make Aurora fNIRS the most powerful and easy to use fNIRS acquisition software on the market.

Of course, this new release is free for our users - look for more details in your inbox next month. Do not hesitate to book us for a live tour of our new features.

In September, Dr. Judit Gervain is joining us to talk about research with infants, stabilizing set up, preventing motion artifacts, experiment duration and setup comfort. Click here to register.

We have many more upcoming webinars!

Turbo-Satori Webinars

Are you interested in real-time fNIRS analysis and neurofeedback solutions? With our partners at Brain Innovation, we will present comprehensive webinars on the new release of Turbo-Satori. Join us on July 22nd and 27th - see this page for more details.

Multi-Modal Integration: EEG & fNIRS

Join us in August for a webinar series where we will talk about integration, paradigm design, triggering and synchronization. Joining us are Dr. David Medine who will talk about combined fNIRS-EEG montage design for optimal cortical coverage, practical hints on how to setup the integrated cap for good signal quality and triggering and synchronization: LSL. Click here to register. We will also have Dr. Theodore Huppert joining us to talk about fNIRS and EEG data analysis. Click here to register.

Mobile imaging with fNIRS

In October, Dr. Alexander von Lühmann will explore portable and wearable solutions for mobile imaging: from system set up to signal quality considerations while preventing and managing motion artifacts.
